I brought my cat here after my normal veterinarian had exhausted the diagnostic tools available at their practice. I drove an hour from Delaware based on my vet's recommendation. Hope did an amazing job with my very ill cat. He stayed overnight for 3 days. They were able to finally provide us with a (quite tricky) diagnosis & did an excellent job updating me on his frequently changing care. They provided compassionate care, answered any questions, and didn't make me feel rushed. I would highly recommended Hope Vet Specialists.
These people say they care for your animals but the have absolutely no compassion whatsoever for your animal. All they are interested in is the money. We brought in a little dog that was attacked by a pit bull. They wouldn't even work on him without $6,000 dollars all up front..Who has that kind of cash on them. Of course they bring you into the room, telling you how awfully sorry they are for you and your PET. Hmmmm.. These people call themselves doctors. Doctors care for their patients. To these people , its all about how much they can drain your pockets. It is such a shame that your dog or cat has to be put through this living hell. I feel sorry for anyone that brings their dog or cat here. It will probably be the last time you ever see your little family member alive. Really think twice and read the bad reviews this butcher shop does. someone needs to close this place down.
The staff at Hope Veterinary Specialists are wonderful. Unfortunately, we had to put our sweet golden doodle, Buttercup, to sleep in November. After discovering a tumor in her throat, Dr. May did everything she could to give us all information and all options so we were sure we were making an informed decision. As difficult as it was, with the information Dr May shared and the manner in which she delivered it, we knew we were doing what was best for our girl. The staff was so compassionate and supportive. Dr. May didn't make me feel rushed even after all procedures were done and she talked with me until I indicated that I was ready to leave. Thank you, Dr May and staff for your patience, empathy, and professionalism. It is obvious how much you all love your furry patients.
The emergency vets took great care of my very old, very sick Border Collie. Not only was the care great, but they were compassionate and caring. This is the second old, sick dog I have had to take there (both for emergency care and for specialist follow-up) and over the years they have always been wonderful. I can't say enough good things about them. I should mention that everyone talks about how great the vets are (and they are) but the nurses and other staff are really good at what they do and are caring as well.
Hope Veterinary Specialists care is phenomenal including the doctors, nurses, and clerical staff. I wish I had a primary care doctor and staff that treated me with such professionalism. I have worked in health care since the last century and can't say enough positive things about them.
